Unconditional Love

If you took it all away
And before you
I was stripped
Bare and naked

And you saw my dishwater blonde hair
And my unblushed cheeks
And the lines that linger around my eyes

And you saw the fear that sometimes
Outlines my heart
And the bitterness that gnaws
On my soul
And the crass thoughts that sometimes seem to
Consume my racing mind.

And you heard the mean things that can
Pour forth from my lips
And the raw sins that I must
Confess to my Maker
And the judgments that transpire
Without me even being aware.

Would you still love me?
