Friends of God (and more bluebonnets)

"And since we have been made right in God’s sight by the blood of Christ, he will certainly save us from God’s condemnation. For since our friendship with God was restored by the death of his Son while we were still his enemies, we will certainly be saved through the life of his Son. So now we can rejoice in our wonderful new relationship with God because our Lord Jesus Christ has made us friends of God."

Romans 5: 9-11, NLT

(And I know, I'm still on my bluebonnet kick.  But wouldn't you be, too??)

  12. What a beautiful picture to greet me this morning. Beautiful flowers, too. I'd love to pick a bouquet for my desk. I'm rejoicing in my relationship with Jesus even though it's not very new!

May your Sabbath be blessed with God's presence,

  16. AMEN! Exact truth... what else could possibly count than knowing we are now friends of God? [One of my favorite worship songs is "I Am a Friend of God."]And it's only b/c He did everything He could to put us in that position. Kind and merciful, don't ya think?
