Remain. Just Remain.

When you are scared,
remain.
When the world seems out of control,
remain.
When you seem out of control,
remain.
When you are worried,
remain.
When things are going your way,
remain.
When it all seems miraculous,
remain.
When you are hurting,
remain.
When you are joyful,
remain.
In all things,
in all times,
in all places,
remain.

"Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches.  Those who remain in Me, and I in them, will produce much fruit.  Apart from Me, you can do nothing."

  1. Boy, isn't it the truth that apart from him we can do nothing? And if there are doubts about that, all I have to do is spend sometime apart from him and then look back at the mess I'm leaving in my wake.

  6. Beautiful! Would make a great greeting card. For a couple of Christmases I printed up some words and sent with my cards. This would be good for that!

  8. I needed to hear this today, thank you! I am familiar with these verses, the "abide" translation. But remain, that puts a different perspective. Not run, not jump off, not want to be somewhere else. Remain. Solid. Rest. Beautiful thoughts. Again, thanks.

  9. Thank you. If I were afraid (panic attack), it is difficult to stay close to Jesus. But it is what I need at that time: Nice post.
