lots of lost, one found

No matter what kind of lost you feel:
whether you feel confused or perplexed,
whether you feel like you are missing pieces in your life,
whether you lament something that is gone,
or that you forfeited,
or that you squandered,
there is just one solution.
There is only one antonym to all these
synonyms
to lost.
No matter what kind of lost,
there is always this:

FOUND.

"So he returned home to his father.  And while he was still a long way off, his father saw him coming.   Filled with love and compassion, he ran to his son, embraced him, and kissed him."
Luke 15: 20, NLT

  1. Lots of comfort in that one word: found. Thankful that even when I feel lost, there's truth in that simple word :)

wonderful reminder and brought back good feeling from your words at the retreat.

Don't you just love it that not only did God find him a long way off - he RAN to embrace him! Such a powerful story.

  5. Captivating photo editing. Really like the black & white with worn edges. It catches the eye and pairs beautifully with your prose and this powerful scripture.
