Wear Your Armor

Have you ever wondered if you weren't actually seeing reality when you looked in the mirror?

Have you thought that God might see you differently than you see yourself?

Have you ever asked Him?

Strap on the Belt of Truth...Jesus Himself...and see how your perspective changes.

You are fearfully and wonderfully made. (Psalm 139)
God knit you together in your mother’s womb. (Psalm 139)

Man may look at my outside appearance, but God looks at your heart. (I Samuel 16)

  1. A to the MEN!!! :-)
And with three girls, I find myself having to revisit this over and over and over again. Both for myself and for them.
Good words. I'll be sharing them with my girls today.
    Have a great weekend!

  2. just last night i sent this text to my girl, the one i mentor: "do you believe, i mean REALLY believe in, psalm 139?" when we can wear that belt of truth (love that visual) our minds are freed from obsessive thoughts of the physical, leaving room for the spiritual. for love. for service. for LIFE.

  3. I think we could all ask the Lord what He loves about us ... I remember when a friend did this and God's answer to her was all of her quirky bits and pieces. How sweet is that.

  4. Amen! AMEN! and AMEN! We are neighbors today at Sandra's. I was glad I was able to stop by :) Blessings to you and all you endeavor for His glory.

  5. Thank you, this is what I need today.

  6. I'm actually struggling today. Interesting that you were reminding me of what's in the Word and the difference between what I view and what my Father does. Going to bed soon hopefully.

Don't go yet! Leave me a note with your thoughts.
