I am stopped in my tract when I realize I've been living for the world's applause. How easily I go astray. Accountability is so important in this walk, and in this blogging world, is it not. I thank you for being a constant light in my blogging journey, not only to help show the way, but to shine on the darker places in my heart that need revealing. Love you, friend.
Such a needed reminder, it's so easy to forget this, especially when you blog, silence can feel like rejection. Thank you for this!! Have a great weekend
Reminded now to listening for the Lord's applause, His praise of "Well done my child." Listening in places and in ways that the world generally does not hear.
This is beautiful. I was jut reflecting on why I have a need to be noticed, to be praised for the things I do. Truly, I want God's approval above all others.
Thank you for the gentle nudge ... our kudos, our applause, our validation comes from our Creator, Redeemer, and Wisdom-Giver! If we wait for other souls to burst into applause, we will usually be disappointed.
Wow, thank you!
ReplyDeleteThis is just lovely!! :) stopping by from Still Saturdays... Living our lives for an audience of ONE is so very fulfilling! Blessings to you
